Carnegie Center for the Arts is hosting prints, etchings, drawings, textile-art, and other mediums from a selection of Illustrators from Children’s and Youth publications from Mexico.

By collaborating with The Mexican Consulate The Kansas City Public Library received high-quality reproductions of these illustrations.  The library has loaned this collection to the Arts center to host this exhibit. The exhibit includes the work of almost twenty notable artists.

The exhibit is open to the public open from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For information, contact the Carnegie at 620-225-6388 and leave a message.

Melissa McCoy picked them up for the Carnegie and brought them here so we could enjoy them out here in western Kansas,” curator Brenda Cornitius said. “The response to the exhibit so far has been wonderful. Everybody loves it.
