Exhibit Shows a Different Spin on Fiber Arts
The Wichita Center for the Arts exhibits 81 works from 63 fiber artists from around the country. National Fiber Directions Exhibit displays works of every nature; functional to 3-dimensional. The artists included in the exhibit feature a diverse group including art instructors; many of whom show all over the country; some of which are featured in fiber arts books. The exhibit does a nice job of detailing some of the processes found in fiber arts as an arts medium.
