KU Offers Minor in Art

Beginning in Spring of 2016, The will be offering a minor in art.  While classes have always been open to non art majors, this will allow non majors to study art more in depth.  The minor was added at student request in order to pursue more fully their interest in art. Students in the minor will be required to take 18 hours of coursework in any visual art concentration, which includes ceramics, drawing, painting, expanded media, textiles/fibers, metal-smithing/jewelry, printmaking and sculpture.

Interested students may contact the department at 785-864-4042 or visualart@ku.edu.  More information can also be found on KU’s website.
