a resource for Kansas creatives

New Exhibit with Christopher Gulick and Justin Marable at Carriage Factory Art Gallery

Topeka artist Justin Marable and Wichita artist Christopher Gulick exhibit new works at Carriage Factory through Nov. 29.  “In the Middle of Everywhere” showcases the artists’ reflection of Kansas through abstract and realistic subject matter.

After growing up in Kansas both artists have created works that have been on display both regionally and nationally. This show will have a diverse appeal; Marable creates art from memories of rural Kansas while Gulick chooses kinetic sculpture as his medium. Opening reception and artists talk will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Carriage Factory Art Gallery, 128 E. Sixth St., Newton, Kansas.
