Robert Bingaman and Nerman Museum Kick off KCMO Summer Art Exhibits

After a presentation on “Third Thursday” at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Robert Bingaman was asked by executive director, Bruce Hartman to exhibit n the museum.

Hartman was captivated by Bingaman’s new swimming pool paintings — presented as luminous blue geometric shapes surrounded by inky darkness — when they flashed on the screen roughly midway through Bingaman’s artist talk.

This is the beginning for artist Robert Bingaman. He was later asked to invite Haw Contemporary Gallery; His works are on view at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art at the Crossroads Art District.
